ITIL® Intermediate Lifecycle Courses

Deepening your knowledge


Participants who have already completed an ITIL® Foundation Course and have passed their exam may wish to further their knowledge in one or more of these ITIL® Intermediate Lifecycle Courses.  All intermediate level exams are 8 multiple choice questions with a 90-minute time limit and can be completed on-site following the course.  Please see our schedule for current course offerings for individual students.  New courses will be added to our schedule on a monthly basis.  To request corporate courses, please contact us.


Service Strategy

This 3-day course will teach participants how to align their organization's IT services with designed business outcomes.  The current and future needs of the business drive what services are needed. Participants will learn industry best practices to ensure that this is exactly what happens.  This course is recommended for professionals who are interested in developing their knowledge of mapping out an organization's IT service strategy.  PMP®/CAPM® participants will earn 27 PDUs upon completion of this course.


Service Design

This 3-day course will teach participants how to bring the service strategy to life through purposely designed services.  A well designed services will be much more supportable, maintainable, and reliable in the life of the service.  This course is recommended for professionals who are interested in learning how to determine which services are required to meet the needs defined in the service strategy.  PMP®/CAPM® participants will earn 27 PDUs upon completion of this course.


Service Transition

This 3-day course will teach participants how to successfully move a service from planning into production.  As much as 75% of incidents are a direct result of insufficient Change Management.  Knowing how to plan the delivery of a service will prevent these incidents from occurring within your IT organization.  This course is recommended for professionals who are interested in gaining an understanding of how to successfully produce results from their planned services.  PMP®/CAPM® participants will earn 27 PDUs upon completion of this course.


Service Operation

This 3-day course will teach participants how to implement and perform the day to day operations of the Service Management processes.  It is at this point where the IT organization interacts directly with customers.  Excellence in Service Operation is imperative to ensuring customer satisfaction.  PMP®/CAPM® participants will earn 27 PDUs upon completion of this course.


Continual Service Improvement

This 3-day course will teach participants how to establish metrics that matter and improve processes throughout the service Lifecycle.  The hallmark of a great IT organization is constant improvement.  This is the focus of this Lifecycle stage.  PMP®/CAPM® participants will earn 27 PDUs upon completion of this course.





These courses are offered mainly live on-line via WebEx.  Course materials will be shipped to participants in the week leading up to the course.  Participants in WebEx courses will receive an exam voucher with their course materials that will cover the testing fees for an on-line exam. Some courses may be offered in-person where there is demand.
